As 100% natural cosmetics, our products are NATRUE - certified. However, our own standards often go above and beyond the requirements of this international seal of quality. For us, natural cosmetics are not a passing trend - they are our heritage.
The responsible and sustainable development of our products is something that has been at the core of Dr. Hauschka Cosmetics ever since the beginning, back in 1967. Today we are proud to continue to carry this philosophy forward.
Naturally, this means that no animal tests have ever been carried out either by or on behalf of Dr. Hauschka Cosmetics since our founding in 1967.

Furthermore, they are always made using as many ingredients obtained from certified organic or Demeter cultivation as possible.
We are extremely selective.
We are rather meticulous when selecting our raw materials. They grow in biodynamic quality in our own medicinal herb garden or on our Demeter farm. Often, they are harvested in the early hours of the morning so that they retain their full natural strengths.
What we do not cultivate ourselves, comes in part from wild collections in the Swabian Jura Mountains and in part from organic cultivation projects worldwide. Alternatively, from partners who work as fairly and sustainably as we do.

What is just as important to us? The friendship with our farmers in Ethiopia, for example, respect for natural rhythms, interest in inner beauty and our special fondness for formulating cosmetics. We watch nature just as attentively as we look out for each other. Because this is the only way to create creams, lotions, serums, oils, treatments and spas that are just as beautiful and good for individuals as for our planet.
